Yet another business promoting worksite mental health by signing up to the Blueprint! WIP Construction are the latest to join, and their workforce at the Smithfield School upgrade project in Cairns have already completed the People at Work Construction survey tool. Feedback from this survey will provide WIP with a clear snapshot of the kinds of factors that may be impacting the mental health of their team on the ground. Our experience has taught us that companies like WIP are already doing a lot of great stuff to promote mental health! Feedback from the survey opens opportunities to engage directly with the Blueprint’s recommendations on how to do things even better. Everyone wins. One of the Blueprint’s pillars concerns how companies can work with their teams to emphasise and celebrate the positive impacts of work. The WIP workers at Smithfield are building the classrooms and facilities for future generations to strive, achieve and learn – worth a round of applause!!
