Jorgen Gullestrup

Jorgen was the CEO of Mates in Construction Qld & NT from 2007 to 2021. Jorgen is a plumber by trade and previously served as secretary of the Plumbers Union Queensland. Jorgen has a Masters in Suicidology and currently a PHD candidate to research the help seeking behaviors of men. Jorgen is passionate about community development and improving the experience of workers seeking support.

Nick Thompson

Nick is the Manager of Industry Engagement and Client Support with Mates in Construction QLD & NT. Nick has been working with companies to implement the Blueprint since June 2019. Nick holds a Masters in Social Work and Graduate Certificate in Facilitating Men’s Behavior Change. Prior to MATES Nick Managed Domestic and Family Violence Contracts with Relationships Australia Queensland.
