Regarding the content of the Respond program, the results suggest significant participant improvements. In terms of the perception and satisfaction of people participating in the training, 87% of participants stated the training was very highly or extremely valuable in increasing their understanding of what the MATES Respond role involves. A similar number of participants (86%) said the training was either very highly or extremely valuable in increasing their confidence in undertaking the role of a MATES Responder. Notably, 91% of participants were very highly and extremely highly satisfied with the Respond training program.
